Spool.Club turns your printer group chat into a working co-op. One person fronts the order, everyone picks their colours, the box ships once, and PayID sorts out the rest. Cheaper spools. Less shipping. Zero spreadsheet.
Every club runs the same loop on a fortnightly cadence. The app handles the boring parts — the tally, the cutoff, the splits — so the box just shows up.
A new drop opens automatically every other Monday. Members pick spools and colours from the shared catalog right inside the app.
Carts lock Sunday night. The app rolls every cart into a single supplier order, slot by colour, and shows the group total.
The week's nominated fronter pays the supplier from one card. Their PayID is shown to everyone else with the exact amount they owe.
The shared box lands at the fronter's place. Members tick off their spools, mark paid, and the drop closes. New one opens next Monday.
Pooling spools with friends gets you wholesale-style pricing, knocks shipping per spool down to nothing, and keeps a colour wall stocked you couldn't justify on your own.
Split a 24-spool run across the group and suddenly your shelf has Sakura Pink, Cobalt Blue, and colours you'd never justify stocking solo — without one person bankrolling the whole rainbow.
The fronter's PayID is shown automatically with the exact dollar amount per person. No calculator screenshots in the group chat.
Skip a drop, no drama. The cadence keeps running so you can opt in only when you actually need spools.
A look at a real drop in flight — the same one running on the dashboard right now.
Cobalt Blue, Sakura Pink, Spring Green, Lab Grey, Signal Red, Lemon Yellow — your club building a colour wall together.
A curated catalog — hand-picked colourways and lines that grow with your club. Enough to print everything you'll actually print — without choice paralysis at the cutoff.
The everyday workhorse. Reliable, affordable, prints anywhere.
Soft low-sheen finish. Hides layer lines. Photographs beautifully.
High-flow, tough, water-resistant. Great for functional parts.
Heat-resistant, durable. For enclosures and outdoor parts.
This is the demo club running in the app. Mara is fronting Drop 014, Tev / Rob / Priya are paid up, KJ and Eli still owe, and Ben hasn't ordered this round.
If your printer group chat sounds anything like a real one, these will land.
One person each drop — the fronter — pays from a single card. Spool.Club generates a PayID-ready breakdown so the rest of the group settles up the next day. Fronting rotates so it doesn't fall on one person.
Nothing breaks. Members opt in per drop. If you skip, your slot is just empty for that round and the rest of the club still ships. The drop after that, you're back in if you want.
The catalog is curated on purpose — it's the fastest path to a working group buy. We're adding more filament brands and types over time; broader supplier choice lands as the core loop stays solid.
The PayID flow is AU-first. The rest of the app — catalog, cart, splits, reminders — is currency-agnostic, so a Stripe / Wise / Venmo handoff for other regions is a small change.
That's up to you — set a club size that fits your group. Big enough to clear free-shipping thresholds, small enough that everyone actually knows everyone. You can run multiple clubs from one account.
Spool.Club itself is free during the beta. There's no markup on filament — you pay the supplier directly through the fronter, at supplier price.
Spin up a club in under a minute. Invite your people. The next Monday is your first drop.
